Home › Exit-Intent Popup Software

Exit-intent popup software that finally works on mobile.

Classic exit-intent only sees mouse-out — useless on phones where 60% of your traffic lives. LeadYup's ExitSense ML watches 26 behavior signals including scroll-back velocity, idle taps, viewport-bottom dwell time, and tab-switch patterns to fire at real intent-to-leave moments.

Classic mouse-out isn't 'exit-intent' anymore.

If your popup tool only listens for the cursor crossing the top of the viewport, it misses every smartphone visitor (60-70% of e-commerce traffic) and every desktop user with two monitors. ExitSense ML is a behavior model trained on 1M+ sessions — it watches scroll patterns, idle taps, viewport-bottom dwell, hover trajectories, and 22 other signals. It learns your site's baseline over the first 100 visitors, then catches 60-80% more genuine exit moments while triggering on fewer false positives than mouse-out.

Install in 4 steps.

  1. Paste the embed script into your site's <head> — same drop-in install on any platform
  2. Open the cabinet and pick Exit-Intent trigger mode (it's the default)
  3. Let ExitSense learn for the first 100 visitors — you'll see 'Learning' badges in the cabinet
  4. Once trained, the model fires popups only when probability-of-leaving crosses your threshold (default 70%)

Common questions.

How does it detect exit on mobile if there's no mouse-out event?
Six signal classes: (1) scroll-up velocity after a long scroll-down (classic 'I'm done' pattern), (2) idle-tap detection (finger lifted, nothing happening), (3) viewport-bottom dwell time, (4) battery-saving viewport blur events, (5) tab-switch patterns via Page Visibility API, (6) device-orientation change to landscape mid-scroll. The model weighs them per-device-class.
How long until ExitSense is 'trained' on my site?
It needs 15-30 sessions per page-bucket to mark a bucket 'Active'. For a single landing page on a low-traffic site that's about a day; for a blog with many URLs it can take a week per major page-group. Until then, a sensible default behavior model applies — you don't have to wait to start seeing leads.
Can I see why a popup fired?
Yes. Each lead in the cabinet has an attribution panel showing the trigger that fired and the model's confidence score at that moment. Useful for tuning thresholds or debugging false-positive feel.
